- "Extraordinary expenses" like private school tuition, competitive sports, or specialized tutoring can be added on top of the guideline amount, but usually only if they're specifically listed in your order or agreed to separately.
- Undefined costs (think school supplies, band fees, or a new travel soccer team) often become a source of conflict simply because nobody wrote them down.
